(a) Treasury shares
On 10 June 2014, at the Annual General Meeting, the shareholders of the Company renewed their approval for the
Company to buy-back its own shares of up to ten percent (10%) of the issued and paid-up share capital of the Company.
During the financial year, 15,520,000 units of KPJ Healthcare Berhad shares were bought by the Company from the open
market, listed on the Main Market of Bursa Listed Securities Berhad, at an average buy-back price of RM3.46 per share
for a total consideration of RM54,413,249 including transaction cost and was financed by internally generated fund. The
shares were retained as treasury shares.
(b) Free Warrants
Free Warrants (2010/2015)
On 15 January 2010, the Company issued up to 131,906,635 free warrants on the basis of one (1) free warrant for every
four (4) shares held by the entitled shareholders of the Company.
The new shares issued arising from the Free Warrants exercised shall upon issue and allotment, rank pari passu in all
respects.
