Datin Sabariah Fauziah commenced her
career in the banking industry prior to
joining KPJ. She has served the group
for 22 years and gained extensive
experience being the General Manager
of KPJ Hospitals for 17 years.
Her current key responsibilities lie in
strategic human capital and the
development of talent career path.
These activities encompass talent
management, engagement of the talents
and overviewing the diversity of the
talent pool. In collaboration with Hospital
Operations unit she also oversees in
harmonising the compensation and
benefits, policies and procedures within
the Group.
Mohd Johar Ismail

International Operation Services
Mohd Johar Ismail, aged 52, is the Vice
President (II) of Project Management,
Bio Medical and International Operation
Services and also the Deputy Chairman
of KPJ Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital,
Chairman of Seremban Specialist
Hospital and KPJ Kajang Specialist
Hospital. He is a Director of KPJ
Selangor, KPJ Klang, SMC Pusrawi
Hospital, Sterile Services Sdn Bhd,
Healthcare IT Solutions Sdn Bhd.
He is a Director of KPJ Sheikh Fazilatunnessa
Mujib Memorial Hospital in Bangladesh,
and two hospitals in Indonesia namely PT
Khidmat Rawatan Jasa Medika RS Permata
Hijau and PT Khidmat Rawatan Jasa Medika
RS Bumi Serpong Damai.
Mohd Johar graduated with a Bachelor
of Accountancy (Hons) from University
Kebangsaan Malaysia. In 1997, he
completed his Post Graduate Diploma in
Health Management from South Bank
University, England.
He started his career as an Internal
Auditor and joined the Johor Corporation
in 1988 as a trouble shooter.
His career with KPJ Healthcare Berhad
(KPJ) commenced in June 1993.
Through experience, Mohd Johar has
been able to build his forte, namely
turning around hospitals and improving
operational efficiencies.
As a tribute to his contributions and service,
Mohd Johar was awarded the Darjah and
Bintang Kebesaran Negeri Selangor (Ahli –
Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah (A.I.S.) in
conjunction with the 65th birthday
celebration of His Royal Highness Duli Yang
Maha Mulia Sultan Selangor in 2010.
She is currently spearheading the
integrity unit in providing the framework
of integrity and activities for the Group.
On the Corporate Responsibility of the
Group, she oversees Klinik Wakaf
activities and other special projects.
Datin Sabariah Fauziah Jamaluddin, aged
54, holds a Bachelor in Business
Administration from Ohio University; a
Post-Graduate Diploma in Health
Services and Hospital Management from
South Bank University; and a Masters in
Business Administration from the
University of Sunshine Coast, Australia.
