Norhaizam Mohammad, aged 43, holds a
portfolio covering Group Financial
Reporting, Treasury/Finance and Tax.
She graduated with a Bachelors in
Accountancy and Finance (Hons) from
Manchester Metropolitan University,
United Kingdom and also holds a Master
Degree in Business Administration from
the University East London, United
Kingdom.
Prior to joining KPJ, Norhaizam was with
PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Kuala
Lumpur for 11 years. In 2008, she was
appointed as the Head of Group Finance
and Account Services, KPJ.
Norhaizam is the Honorary Treasurer of
the Malaysian Society for Quality in
Health (MSQH), a post she has held
since December 2010.
She is currently a member of the Hospital
Operations Committee, involving with the
financial and operational of hospitals
within the group.
Ahmad Nasirruddin Harun

Ahmad Nasirruddin Harun, aged 53, is
an accountant by training. He holds a
Degree in Accountancy from MARA
University of Technology, Shah Alam; a
post-graduate Diploma in Health
Services and Hospital Management from
South Bank University, London and a
Master in Business Administration from
Henley Business School, University of
Reading, United Kingdom.
He began his career as an auditor in
Coopers & Lybrand in 1986 and joined
KPJ Ipoh Specialist Hospital as an
Accountant in 1995. Throughout his
infant days as an accountant in the
Healthcare Industry since 1995 he used
up most of his working days crunching
and focusing on his Organization
financial information. With the inception
of Balance Score Card in the late 1990’s
he has widened his strategic focused on
achieving his organisation Vision by
aligning its Vision, Mission and Core
values through a number of creative
initiative’s particularly in his Customers,
learning and Growth perspective, he has
venture into bringing excellent initiative’s
from Non-Healthcare industries into his
hospitals deliverables. Strategically in a

Organization he has moved away from
having a transactional leadership traits
alone, his transformational leadership
has transformed his hospital challenging
care of delivery service culture to a new
experience with time. Healthy working
environment, high number of outpatients
and often full beds occupancy of his
hospital today is a testimony of the
deliverables that delights his customers
and thus inspire him to go the extra
mile.

Penang Specialist Hospital, Taiping
Medical Centre, Sri Manjung Specialist
Centre, deputy Chairman for KPJ Ipoh
Specialist Hospital, Executive Director
for KPJ University College, Pharmaserv
Alliances Sdn Bhd, Lablink (M) Sdn Bhd
and the Director in Charge for Jeta
Gardens Aged Care Australia.
