Dato’ Amiruddin Abdul Satar was
appointed as the President & Managing
Director of KPJ Healthcare Berhad since
1 January 2013.
A member of the Association of
Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA),
Dato’ Amiruddin is an alumnus of the
Henley Business School, University of
Reading, United Kingdom where he
obtained his Masters in Business
Administration (MBA) in 2010.
In his 23 years with KPJ, Dato’ Amiruddin
has been involved in various areas of
hospital operations, finance and senior
management functions such as strategic
planning and investment decisions of
KPJ.
Dato’ Amiruddin gained significant
experience in finance and management
through his capacity as the Accountant
and Finance Manager of several large
and reputable organisations in the
country.
He also holds directorships in several
KPJ hospitals as the Chairman.
Dato’ Amiruddin contributes actively in
the development of the Malaysian
h e a l t h c a r e s e c t o r t h r o u g h h i s
involvement with the Association of
Private Hospitals of Malaysia (APHM),
where he is currently its Vice President.
Other than as disclosed, he does not
have family relationships with any
Director and/or major shareholder of
KPJ. He has no personal interest in any
business arrangement involving KPJ and
has not been convicted for any offences.
