SUBDIVISION / CONSOLIDATION OF SHARES (CHAPTER 13 OF LISTING REQUIREMENTS)

KPJ HEALTHCARE BERHAD ("KPJ" OR THE "COMPANY") SUBDIVISION OF EVERY 1 ORDINARY SHARE IN KPJ INTO 4 ORDINARY SHARES IN KPJ HELD AS AT 5.00 P.M. ON 26 SEPTEMBER 2017 ("SUBDIVISION")
We refer to the announcements dated 20 April 2017, 19 May 2017, 9 June 2017, 21 June 2017 and 11 September 2017 in relation to the Subdivision. Unless otherwise defined, the definitions set out in the circular to shareholders dated 2 August 2017 shall apply herein.
On behalf of the Board, RHB Investment Bank wishes to announce that pursuant to the Subdivision and based on the entitlement date as at 5.00 p.m. on 26 September 2017 (“Entitlement Date”):-
(i) 1,070,156,823 ordinary shares in KPJ will be subdivided into 4,280,627,292 ordinary shares in KPJ (“Subdivided Shares”) today; and
(ii) 259,226,010 Additional Warrants will be issued.
The Subdivided Shares and Additional Warrants will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Securities with effect from 9.00 a.m. on Wednesday, 27 September 2017, being the next market day immediately after the Entitlement Date.
