Subdivision of every 1 existing ordinary share in KPJ Healthcare Berhad ("KPJ") ("KPJ Share(s)") into 4 ordinary shares in KPJ ("Subdivided Share(s)") as at 5.00 p.m. on 26 September 2017 ("Entitlement Date") ("Subdivision").

2)  The last date of lodgment : 26 Sep 2017

Remarks 1: "Bursa Malaysia Securities Bhd would like to clarify that on the basis of settlement taking place after of 26 September 2017 with share split KPJ shares. Any shareholder who is entitled to receive KPJ share split shares, may sell any or all of his KPJ shares arising from the share split beginning the Ex-Date ( 21 September 2017). 

For example, if Mr X purchases 100 KPJ shares on cum basis on of 20 September 2017, Mr X should receive 100 shares on of 26 September 2017. As a result of the share split, 400 KPJ shares will be credited into Mr X's CDS account on the night of of 26 September 2017 being the Book Closing Date. Therefore, Mr X can sell the share split shares of 400 on or after the Ex-Date ie from of 21 September 2017 onwards." 

Remarks 2: The Subdivision entails the subdivision of every 1 KPJ Share into 4 Subdivided Shares as at 5.00 p.m. on 26 September 2017. The Subdivided Shares will be listed and quoted on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on 27 September 2017 ("Listing Date"), being the next market day immediately after the Entitlement Date. KPJ's Share Registrar will issue and despatch the notices of allotment for the Subdivided Shares to the entitled shareholders of KPJ not later than 4 market days after the Listing Date.
