The Board of Directors of KPJ Healthcare Berhad ("KPJ" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company intends to seek the approval of its shareholders for the "proposed renewal of shareholders' mandate and new shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature" pursuant to paragraph 10.09 of the Bursa Securities' Listing Requirements, at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company to be held not later than 30 June 2011.

The information on the above transaction will be disclosed in the Circular to Shareholders together with Annual Report 2010 to be issued to the shareholders of KPJ in due course.
