Reference is made to the announcements dated 25 February 2009 and 30 March 2009 in relation to the Proposed Distribution.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of KPJ, AmInvestment Bank Berhad (”AmInvestment Bank”), a member of the AmInvestment Bank Group, is pleased to announce that the Securities Commission ("SC") has approved the Proposed Distribution vide its letter dated 27 April 2009 (which was received on 29 April 2009).

The approval of the SC is subject to the condition that AmInvestment Bank / KPJ is to fully comply with the relevant requirements pertaining to the implementation of the Proposed Distribution as stipulated in the Guidelines on the Offering of Equity and Equity-Linked Securities.
