The Extraordinary General Meeting called to approve the
resolutions on the Proposed Disposal and Leaseback of KPJUC
Properties; Proposed Disposal and Leaseback of SSHSB Land;
and the Proposed Acquisition of the entire equity interests in
Crossborder Hall (M) Sdn Bhd and Crossborder Aim (M) Sdn
Bhd; was successfully conducted at The Puteri Pacific Hotel,
Johor Bahru. All the resolutions were duly approved by the
shareholders.
13 OCTOBER 2015
The Extraordinary General Meeting called to approve the
resolution on the proposed change of KPJ’s external auditors
was successfully conducted at Persada Johor International
Convention Centre. The resolution was duly approved by the
shareholders.
The change of auditors from Messrs. Ernst & Young to Messrs.
PricewaterhouseCoopers was in line with the rotation cycle of
external auditors involving the JCorp Group of Companies, in
consultation with the Auditor-General’s Office.

The Proposed Disposal of SSH land was completed following
the receipt of the balance purchase consideration of
RM4.15 million by SSHSB and transfer of beneficial ownership
of the SSH land from SSHSB to the Trustee.
20 NOVEMBER 2015
KPJ, through its wholly-owned subsidiary company KPJSB
signed an SPA with Coronade Properties Sdn Bhd to acquire a
commercial parcel measuring approximately 125,000 square
feet in gross floor area in a building to be erected for a total
purchase consideration of RM90 million. The proposed
acquisition will be part of a mixed commercial development
provisionally known as “Coronation Square”.
The proposed acquisition represents an opportunity for KPJ to
create healthcare facilities comprising of an outpatient centre
that features, amongst others complementary medicine,
wellness services and also senior living service apartments
within the Coronation Square commercial development area.
These services will also be extended to serve both local and
foreign patients as well as complement its existing specialist
hospitals within the city of Johor Bahru.

The Proposed Disposal and Leaseback of the KPJUC Properties
was completed on 1 December 2015, in accordance with the
terms and conditions of the SPA.
